Mission Statement

The Mission of the Highlands Ranch High School Inline Hockey Program is to:

Promote inline hockey as a Highlands Ranch High School competitive club sport.

Encourage and support each player on and off the rink.

Focus on teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and lifelong skills, including academic success.

Coach to all levels and develop each player's skills to their greatest potential.

Maximize team exposure and create a self-funded team through sponsorships, fundraisers and marketing efforts.

Act in accordance with the rules and regulations of governing bodies including AAU, USA Hockey Inline, CHSIHA etc. Lead, create and promote a positive hockey experience for all, with emphasis on having FUN!

SIT Tournament Update

Below you will find the initial schedule for this weekend's SIT tournament (12/16 and 12/17). You may also view the full schedule at the CHSIHA site.

All games will be played at Bladium. Not all players have the official Projoy jerseys yet, thus all players from all teams must bring home and away practice jerseys (CCM). As always, please arrive one hour prior to the game time.

VARSITY
Saturday, 4:20 p.m. against Ponderosa
Saturday, 7:40 p.m. against Arvada

The Varsity team will also play pool games late Sunday afternoon, but we won't know the specific time until we have Saturday's results. Should they get to the championship, it will be played at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday.

JV-5A
Saturday, 9:00 a.m. against Eagle Crest
Saturday, 11:00 a.m. against Fossil Ridge

The JV-5A team will also play pool games early Sunday morning/afternoon, but we won't know the specific time until we have Saturday's results. Should they get to the championship, it will be played at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday.

JV-4A
Saturday, 7:00 a.m. against Standley Lake
Saturday, 10:20 a.m. against Lewis Palmer
Sunday, 9:40 a.m. against Mountain Vista
Sunday, 11:40 a.m. against Kennedy

Should they get to the championship, it will be played at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.

A Note from Coach Graham

We are going to have a very hectic weekend with this Preseason ending Tournament. This year's teams are all slated to go far and the ‘How Far’ will depend on how prepared the kids are for this weekends games. We as coaches need to have every player there at practice if at all possible and on time. We need to get them prepped as much as humanly possible.

This years preseason tournament will start on Friday night with the JV 2 playing at 7:20 pm. Please make sure you get your kid(s) to the game on time or arrange for a ride so they can get there on time. On time means one hour prior to game time and especially this weekend we need to make sure they are all there on time. This is what I like to call Day of reckoning. Unlike all the rest of the games we played so far, a loss this weekend means we are done for this league. All three teams are set to get to the Sunday’s Finals and all three have the capacity to play and win the 1pm or 2pm final game.

I believe in these kids and I am confident that they will play their best so please help them along and get them to their practice and their games this weekend. Take care and I will see you all this weekend.
